AP: A private geospatial intelligence firm analyzed 40 missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia by Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen and militias in Iraq between July 1 and October 19. In every case, Russian government and military satellites were observed orbiting over the targeted areas for days before and after the attacks. The findings suggest Russia is helping Iran and its allies target Saudi oil and military infrastructure, contributing to rising global energy prices. Three officials, including a Saudi official and a senior Houthi, and a private intelligence analyst told AP that the Houthis and other Iranian allies benefited from Russian intelligence and Chinese capabilities. Iranian advisers reportedly analyzed and passed the intelligence to allied groups.
